WhatToWearToday is a free website that displays a short-range weather forecast and suggested outfits for the location you provide. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
No professional advice
Forecasts are supplied by a third-party weather provider (OpenWeatherMap) and can be inaccurate or out of date. Outfit suggestions are editorial recommendations; they are not medical, safety, or professional advice. Use your own judgment about weather-related risks — including extreme heat, cold, sun exposure, precipitation, and storms.
Affiliate links
The Buy on Amazonbuttons on the site are affiliate links. WhatToWearToday participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Product availability, descriptions, pricing, shipping, and returns are controlled by Amazon and the respective sellers, not by us. We are not responsible for Amazon's acts or omissions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, mirror, or abuse our APIs or site in a way that burdens our infrastructure;
- use the site for any unlawful purpose or to violate the rights of others;
- attempt to probe, scan, or compromise the security of the site;
- reverse engineer the site for anti-competitive purposes or to build a substantially similar product.
Intellectual property
All editorial content on the site — including outfit descriptions, curated selections, collages, and the user interface — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Product images and brand names belong to their respective owners. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without prior written permission.
User content
The public site does not accept user-submitted content at this time. Any unsolicited submission is not confidential and grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that forecasts will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatToWearToday and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site. Our total aggregate liability for any direct claims will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100).
Third-party services
The site relies on third-party services — including OpenWeatherMap, Google Maps Platform, ip-api.com, Supabase, Vercel, and Amazon — each governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or content of those services.
Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the site (in whole or in part), and we may restrict or terminate your access, at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest change. Your continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator resides, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
